Marlborough Savings Bank appoints Carol Sanchez to the Board of Directors

MARLBOROUGH – March 18, 2010 – Marlborough Savings Bank (MSB) is pleased to announce the appointment of Carol I. Sanchez to the Board of Directors. Ms. Sanchez is the founder and partner of Sanchez & Santiago, LLC, a CPA firm located in Marlboro and Boston, Massachusetts.

Ms. Sanchez has over 30 years of managerial and executive experience in audit, accounting, internal audit, international operations, merchandising, and consulting, with many multinational organizations including Global Resources, Staples, Inc., The Timberland Company, Stride Rite International, Verizon and KPMG.

A recipient of numerous awards including Boston Business Journal’s “20 On the Move” and El Planeta Newspaper’s 100 Most Influential Latinos, Ms. Sanchez is also on the Board of Directors for the Center for Women and Enterprise and Founder of the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA). Additionally, she has been a PTO Treasurer for two Framingham Schools since 2006.
